Not even crackers. Which ya I know it's a game to help lose weight. My only problem is on the food list part of it. Other than that food thing.
All they have are the healthy things. It is a good game to help you lose weight. There are soo many things not on there. You will have every food choice on there probably. But everyone eats chips.
That don't have anything even close to them. I would say it is a game more geared towards you type of eaters.Oh and the product got to me in the condition discribed by the seller. There are very little types of food to choose from. It is pretty neat. And there are some that aren't too bad for you.
But there is not a single chip on it. If your a vegitarian or someone who eats very healthy. And faster than expected.
It includes a pedometer that you can connect to the Nintendo DS at the end of the day and it keeps track of all your progress. This is really a personal trainer in your pocket. I have lost 15 pounds so far. It helps you set goals for the day, fitness and nutrition goals and gets you going for the day. It may seem silly for some but for me, it keeps me motivated since i like pocket electronic games. I really like it. It is more for people who want to loose weight.
That's why I got this instead of doing something else. My sister, mom and I all have this so after a while began to make up our own challenges for each other and hung them on the frig. So now I use a regular pedometer with a goal setting and manually type in my stpes. The only complaint I have on it is that the clip on the pedometer broke after about one month. It also keeps up with your weight and gives you useful graphs for different things like weight change, amounts of steps, and etc.
Oops. I really enjoy it. I keep forgetting to get it replaced. It works better with a diet plan, but that's up to you. I'm disabled from a car wreck, so exercise can be hard for me but I can walk pretty well most days.
Doing the challenges is really that fun. I find this all very motivating. Also on the challeges you are allowed to take up to six a day and I find them very fun. I can't always get the number of steps in a day it wants me to do, but it still gives me a check mark for the day though. It comes with a warrenty if you have the reciept, but I somehow lost that.
Other than that I liked it so much I bought one for my mom and she later got one for my sister and actually bought my sister a ds just so she could do this game. You can't beat a weight loss plan like this. I bought this game in hopes of lossing weight. They come in two forms - Food and Fitness and are either minute challeges or 24-hr challenges. They help you stay on track and make doing that extra exercise more fun. Also this game doesn't require a diet or other weird limits on the way you eat. :)Anyways, the coach helps you in eating habits, exercise modivation, and healthy tips. And yes, I've lost weight using this.
I've been using it for months now. I also feel a lot better from the exercise too. That tells you how good it is. It basically gives you a "To Do" list each day on exercise, eating, challenges, and amount of steps for the day. All it wants you to do is even out your food intake with your exercise and metabolism, to help you loose weight. :)
Alone I don't think it's in depth enough, I wouldn't rely on it as my only source of weight loss help/advice. It can be very helpful with advice about eating right, cutting back on salt and sugar, getting active and being conscientious about keeping track of how much you eat in comparison with how active you are.I very much like the challenges section, which works along with the coaching section to give you new food and exercise ideas. As far as the game goes, I think it's a very helpful companion tool.
I have had this for less than a month and the pedometer clip is already broken. Before that the battery kept falling out and it was almost impossible to track steps with (I solved that problem with electrical tape).
Completely aside from the game, I first have to say that I was VERY disappointed with the pedometer that is included. My pedometer (both battery and clip) is currently held together with electrical tape until I can find one that I really like. The game itself is very cute with a little stick person that hops around giving you encouragement and tips.
Very lame, I am completely unimpressed with the quality of the pedometer. That is why I can not give this game a higher rating.Even if your pedometer broke, you can enter your steps manually instead of putting the pedometer into the gameboy slot.
Great if you have something to use it with, like Wii Fit or SparkPeople (I use all three).
This is a constant reminder of what your trying to accomplish.I love the little stick people. The pedometer is a reminder to get more steps in the day as an added bonus to your exercise routine.
Reminds you to eat healthy and exercise. The pedometer is HUGE.
Its a cute game. I dont "walk" for exercise, I do other workout tapes, but there is a place to record that.
The clip is too tight to actually clip on clothes. Even my scrubs I wear for work (which are thin) I had trouble getting it to clip on.Not a problem, use your own pedometer.
I like that its played every day. They're cute.
